I am doing an evaluation of Crystal Enterprise.  I was wondering if there is any way to change the Report Name depending on the user.  We have multiple international sites that will be accessing our reports and each user has a language preference.  Is this just a matter of customizing the ePortfolio interface via ASP?  We have a database that has already been designed with all our reports categorized with multiple language descriptions.

More information on this question --

I would like to present the user with a report name in English for a user with an English preference and Spanish for a user with a Spanish preference.  So I am assuming this will involve a separate table that has Report Names in different languages that resides in the CE database.  Can we customize the ePortfolio interface to accomplish this?

Any comments will be appreciated...

Hi Rory,

This is exactly how you would go about it - do the report name lookup in Crystal Server Page code and present the appropriate version based on the user profile.

Check out the WebDeveloperHelp.hlp file that comes with CE for a roadmap of the ePortfolio structure.
