Can anybody tell me how to print BMP files on a laser of deskjet printer through clipper. (Clipper 5.2e) i am using the DOS OS.

Don't know if you've got this handled yet or not.
1. There are some libraries available for Clipper that will print graphics. The one I am most familiar with is out of business.
2. If your BMP could be converted to a PCL, then Clipper coupd print it to a Laser printer simply by copying it to the lpt port.

i speak very bad english.. but..


generate file prn in windows..!

Step 1 ... Open image in winword (yes!.. winword for )..
step 2.... select printer (hp) in winword
step 3..... print page in word,check PRINT TO FILE
step 4..... select name xxxxx

this generate xxxxx.prn

test in DOS

type xxxx.prn>LPT1


coding in clipper before body report

! type xxxx.prn>prn
? "name xxx bla bla"
? "bla bla"

I.L.A., Inc. was the plubisher of ProHP-6, a library of laser functions for clipper.

I don't know if they are still around, but in their manual is the following support numbers and contact info.
