im using sybmian os(codewarrio IDE). how can i use mimer slq JDBC)

(OP)
im making an application on Sony ericsson P900 using symbian os. im using codewarrior IDE which uses c++. it was written in the mimer site that inorder to use the mimersql on symbian os(sony ericsson P900) you have to use the JDBC which means using i have to use the jave language. so how can i do so while im using the codewarrior IDE for implementation.

thanks

RE: im using sybmian os(codewarrio IDE). how can i use mimer slq JDBC)

Yes.
It is correct that the only client library supported by Mimer SQL on Sony Ericsson P900 is a Java library derived from JDBC. Therefore a Java development environment is required, I don't know if Metrowerks has a Codewarrior for Java IDE. The regular Codewarrior for Symbian OS IDE cannot be used since that is for C++ only.

When I develop J2ME/MIDP-applications, I use the Sun J2ME Wireless Toolkit. It is not an IDE so you have to use your favourite editor to edit the source code, and use the toolkit to compile and package your application.
