CMS portIO error in System Log?? Drivers failed to load at startup

CMS portIO error in System Log?? Drivers failed to load at startup

Hello everyone! I have been researching this issue on the net and was unable to find a solution.  So im going to give it a shot here..
"the CMS PortIO service failed to start due to the following error:  the service cannot be started, either because it is disabled or because it has no enabled devices associated to it."   Event ID 7000, Source: service control manager

I do not know what service/ driver this is for?  I am trying to research this to see what the issue is and what can i do to resolve this.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks again!

RE: CMS portIO error in System Log?? Drivers failed to load at startup

I believe that CMSProducts uses this service in their backup software. The file is portd2k.sys; this should point you in the right direction. If not let me know.
