we've been tampering with domino server at uni for the last 3 weeks, so our group decided to get it up and running, my

house was the place we decided to do it. our current set up is:

plus.net (2MB) ---> modem ---> gateway ---> switch ---> clients & domino server

Points:
- modems security features turned off, this includes everything: firewall, NAT, port forwarding etc....
- gateway acts has a bandwidth control, firewire, port forwarding, nat etc... (all deamons turned off) its clark connect

freeware installed on linux.
- switch does its thing for clients.. and the domino server

The query we have is the "hostname" we need to add to the server set up for access outside:

we can traceroute apuparadise.plus.com which takes us to our assigned IP from plus.net, but getting into to our network ,

we not sure if its a firewall problem... i tried one of the name of the computers IE jack.apuparadise.plus.com didnt work.

any ideas? on what the host name would be for that server with domain name jmod and hostname server2003
