 SATA driver disk

How on earth do you make a SATA driver disk?  My friend has and Amd 64 and cannot get his darn WD Raptor sata to install does anyone have any suggestions??

you need to download the correct sata drivers for your motherboard, google should get you there...

then, if you're trying to install windows on the sata you're going to have to save the drivers to a floppy, and when windows install gets to the "press F6 to install extra drivers" bit (not 100% sure about the wording), press F6 and install the drivers...

if you've already got windows installed, then just reinstall your new drivers as normal...
