Retrieving Color

Retrieving Color

(OP)
I would like to retrieve the color of a row in a column or table and process the data depending on its color.  However I have been unable to retrieve the color of an object.  Anyone know how to do this?

RE: Retrieving Color

Hi,

it ist not possible.

But: why do you want this? I normally color the cells depending on the data?

However you need the over way: you (the developer) made the color-settings, so you should know, what color is in which row, or?

RE: Retrieving Color

Rows that need to be saved are colored differently than rows that are display only.  When the page is changed and a row inserted I have to change references in several places.  I was hoping to change the pages to say "if the color is white, then save" instead of using row references.  I heard from Arcplan and they have put it on a list of possible enhancements.  In the meantime we have decided on another solution of simplify our application.  Thank you for your response.
