...are there any additional templates available for Publisher(brochures, cards, flyers .etc)

I don't mean to be cynical here but think about your motivation for using templates. You save a few minutes by clicking a button to create a "ready-to-print" publication and then spend several hours shifting the objects around, changing the text, loading different clipart and so-on to make your pub look presentable. Why not start with a blank page and create something unique and distinct? You can always save it as a template to be used when you need a similar publication and have several hours to spend shifting, changing, loading and so-on.
