Kyocera printer problem
|
|
Hello,
i'm having a problem printing a Report Builder report into a Kyocera 3700+ printer, the report doesn't start on the left margin, but it starts printing in the midle of the page, when previewing it looks fine.
any help will be apreciated.
thanks, J. Cruz |

Hi,
Are you sure you have the right driver for the printer ? Also what OS are you using ?
|
|
Hi,
The OS is Windows 2000, and the driver is the most recent one we fond at the Kyocera web site.
Thanks. |

Hi,
Try the following :
1. Use a Win98 machine and check the report output 2. Apply the latest ptf for your version of the centura. There are known issues with printing using Win2000, and are solved with the latest ptfs. 3. Do you have the same problem with other printers eg. HP?
I have been using Kyocera printers for a long time with any issues. You will have to first find out whether the problem is with the printer or centura. I would first apply the latest ptf though.
Hope this helps |

Hi!
I kindly would like to ask for your help with Centura report printing. The main idea was to ensure the complete user auditing in my Centura application, I mean to log all of user operations within the application (opening forms, operations with Informix database – inserts, selects upadates etc.).
So, everything goes fine until I want to fix the printing fact of any of my reports. So I want to get back a signal in my application that clearly says does the printer received my report data or not. Is it possible at all, any suggestions?
Thank you in advance, Maris
