How to lock records in a collection individually from editing? by HIM
Posted: 14 Jun 00

In my case, I has a form with a subform. The subform was populated by a query. Each record had a field of the type Yes/No called Locked. If you checked this field, all related data should be locked for editing. I did this by adding VB code to the BeforeUpdate() event of the forms affected.
if Locked then
  cancel=true
else
  cancel=false
end if

You can then add additional functionality to this code.
