How to regulate line voltage wihout a UPS
Posted: 2 Nov 09 (Edited 7 Aug 12)

APC makes a Line Conditioner product line - Line - R
we bought several of them before we had our power wiring redone because we were getting voltage droops. The product has an autotransformer that senses the input voltage, and steps it up or down to the nominal output rating in 2.5 volt steps. It could be used to protect electronic equipment running on a generator with load sensing without having a UPS with battery between the generator and the load. The Line-R products only come in 600VA and 1200VA sizes though.
