What are SQL Books Online & Where Can I Find Them? by tlbroadbent
Posted: 26 Apr 01

When we refer to SQL Books Online (BOL), we mean the electronic books or documentation that came with SQL Server. These can be loaded onto your PC as part of the SQL Server or client tools setup.

If you can't find them or don't have an intall disk, SQL 7.0 BOL can be downloaded from Microsoft web site at
http://www.microsoft.com/sql/techinfo/productdoc/70/books.asp

German and Spanish versions are available at
http://www.microsoft.com/sql/techinfo/productdoc/70/gerspbol.asp

SQL 2000 BOL can be downloaded from Microsoft web site at
http://www.microsoft.com/sql/techinfo/productdoc/2000/books.asp
(Download BOL in several different languages.)

You can view SQL 2000 BOL on the Microsoft web site at
http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/en-us/startsql/getstart_4fht.asp
