How to check out the temperature on your 4000/4500 Switch running IOS by baddos

Telnet into your switch as you would normally, and issue a "show environment".

This command will display the temperature settings and current power conditions. This is helpful to know, if you are troubleshooting a power supply or a telco closet's ventilation.
