Javascript FAQ

errors

access denied
Posted: 15 Apr 04

if you are trying to access a document and are receiving an "access denied" error, check to see if the document you are trying to access is outside of your domain (i.e. you are on www.foo.com and the other document is on www.bar.com)

javascript will not allow cross-domain scripting for security reasons.
