Browsing for references is time-consuming by chiph
Posted: 13 Sep 03

If you go under:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\.NETFramework\AssemblyFolders\

and add a subkey/value like this:

companyname\(Default)="C:\Myprojects\MyDataAccessProject\bin"

then all of your DataAccess assemblies will show up on the .NET tab when you do "Add Reference ...", which is much less annoying than browsing manually for every reference under the "Projects" tab.
