Better Date\Datetime Controls by craigsboyd
Posted: 19 Jul 03 (Edited 31 Mar 05)

I've wanted an improved way for the user to enter DateTime values for awhile now...without having to buy it from a thrid-party.  This is the beginning of that better way.  It still relies on the Microsoft Monthview Control to show the calendar, but I'll be creating a calendar class in the near future so no ActiveX control will be needed. Why not just use the MS Datetime Picker control???  There are many draw backs to that control such as: Poor job of handling Empty Dates, You can't set the Forecolor/Backcolor of the entry area, Date and Time are still together in a single line confusing the user, the list goes on... (Cut-N-Paste the code below into a PRG and run it from within VFP)
