Microsoft SQL Server: Programming FAQ

Enterprise Manager

Can anyone tell me how to enable¦disable the display of the Master, Model, and Tempdb databases in Enterprise Manager?

In Ent. Manager, Right click on the Server and select "Edit SQL Server Registration Properties".  In the window that pops up, there will be 3 check boxes at the bottom.  The middle box will say "Show system databases and system objects", check it to show Master, Model, etc..., and uncheck it to hide them.
