How do I create an Autorun.inf file for my program CD by DougP
Posted: 2 Apr 02

Here is a link on MicrosoftÆs WEB site that explains the different auto run parameters and what they do.
http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/default.asp?url=/library/en-us/shellcc/platform/Shell/programmersguide/shell_basics/shell_basics_extending/autorun/autoplay_cmds.asp

This example shows how to call an Html document using the computers default browser.

[autorun]
shellexecute=index.html

So when the CD is inserted it loads the default browser and then opens the index.html page.

This example shows how to run a setup program.

[autorun]
open=setup.exe
