Compaq Insight Manger Install

How do I change Community Strings

I wanted to change my community strings from the default of "public" and so I began trying to find out how to do this. I saw only a few articles concerning this and for my systems they were inaccurate. To change the community string on a W2K server using CIM 5.2 you need to open the services console. Find the SNMP service and in the properties go to the security tab. Click on edit and changed the community string. I then changed it on workstation CIM and achieved a successful connection.
